Nicki Minaj Toronto Concert Sets Stage For More Drama

The Print Pink Tour officially made its mark in Toronto. The Nicki Minaj Toronto concert at Molson Ampitheatre certainly brought a whole heap of baggage with it. From the Meek Mill Drake drama to now the latest with Nicki, Meek and Safaree. As a matter of a fact Nicki had a few choice words for her ex Safaree at the concert

And then there was Meek Mill. Many were wondering whether Meek would even make it because he showed up late for his set and rumours were swirly that there were some border issue. Local news sources confirm that he was in fact detained at the Canadian-US border. When he finally did arrive and was introduced… the crowd booed him. And if he didn’t hear the boos he saw the the shirts fans wore with memes re: Drakes first diss track “Charged Up” etc.

The verbal sparring continues today with Drake releasing yet another diss track called “BacktoBack’ and there’s a baseball reference. Drake used a pic of Joe Carter from the 1993 World Series when the Blue Jays beat the Phillies(where Meek is from) on a walk-off home run to win back-to-back World Series. The song is below. We’re hoping this whole thing stays in song form and never turns physical. Local media and industry celebs were showing their allegiance to Drake on social media.

It still seemed though that Nicki Minaj got some love from fans atlast night’s show. For the most part, we saw positive social media response to her performance. Rae Sremmurd, Tinashe and Dej Loaf also performed.

Take a  look at the social media round up of the night including the new Drake diss song and reaction.
